Walk into any Swedish supermarket and look at what's on offer for cats.
Heat-blasted kibble. Cheap wet food bulked out with grain and gravy. Imported brands with ingredient lists that read like a chemistry exam.
And if you want to do better? Your only real option is raw. Which means salmonella on your hands, your counters, and the cat that just ate it.
For a country that demands real food for its people, real standards for its products, and real provenance for its meat — the cat food aisle is a quiet embarrassment.
So we built what should already exist.
Svenskatt is made in Gävle from human-grade Swedish meat. Gently cooked to 90°C — hot enough to kill bad bacteria, gentle enough to keep the nutrition that ultra-processing destroys.
